Drum & IBC Heaters
Drum & IBC heaters provide a controlled, safe source of electrical surface heating to 205ltr steel drums, plastic drum or standard 1000ltr IBCs to either maintain or raise the temperature of the contents. Heaters can be ordered with standard or digital thermostats and are supported by a range of insulating lid covers.
Other products within this range include insulated jackets, base heaters, insulation lids and side heaters.
A number of industries directly benefit from this technology including food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, confectionery, manufacturing, utilities and generally where lubricants, chemicals and oil-based liquids are required to be kept at certain temperatures. Failure to do so can lead to the quality of the stored substances reducing or potential hazards.
Additionally, the heaters can protect the containers from frost or heat loss if the drum was heated prior. Providing uniform surface heat to the product eliminates concerns about localised overheating while also preventing damage to the stored substances.
